#1. West Linn
Less than 8 square miles, West Linn has a ridiculous 600 acres of land devoted to parks. Just one of the many reasons that this town makes list after list of the best places to live (nationwide). It is also incredibly safe with (top 3 in Oregon) and boasts one of the lowest unemployment levels in the state. Beauty, safety and tons of space for leisure — this town has it all.
#2. Lake Oswego
Lake Oswego tops the charts for the best employment rate at just over 95%. This city was also in the top 10 for best crime rate and adjusted median income. Yahtzee!
Super close to big city life in Portland, low unemployment, top 5 in adjusted income and top 5 when it comes to crime rate — Sherwood is a fantastic place to live. We have seen Sherwood make the top 10 in many lists, but nobody seems to give it the recognition it deserves: TOP 3!
#4. Oak Hills
Oak Hills has been nationally recognized as one of the most historic places around the United States. Considering how dense the population is in Oak Hills, it is remarkable that it continues to boast high rankings when it comes to unemployment, adjusted median income and vacancy rates. This is a place everyone should want to live.
Beaverton has been widely acknowledged as one of the best places to live in the entire United States. This city performed well in several of our categories including employment rate, adjusted median income and crime rate. Nearby to some fantastic trails at Washington Park, this is a great spot for anyone.
This city is raking it in with a median income of more than $100k, which puts it into the category of the highest earning cities in the United States. We love business-minded cities and what they do for the country so mark Bethany down at #6 on the list.
Beautiful views, low vacancy rates and one heck of a rodeo equals #7 on our list! We do not want to leave out the fact that Canby had a slew of top 10 rankings across the categories we looked at.
