Mall of America

While many cities across the nation are seeing a decline in mall shopping, that is not true for the town of Bloomington, MN where the Mall of America is still going strong since it first opened in 1992. MOA is one of the top tourist spots in the Midwest and offers so much more than your usual shopping experience. Along with an abundance of stores, the mall features over 28 rides, and a 1.3-million-gallon aquarium. Featured attractions include Escape Rooms, a Mirror Maze, and Live Entertainment.

Como Park Zoo and Conservatory

The Como Park Zoo and Conservatory features plenty of opportunities for family fun. Plan your day around visiting the multitude of animals you can see inside the zoo such as the Arctic Fox, Bison, Kudu, Langur, Gorillas and more. Split Rock Lighthouse

Experience the history and sights at this landmark location when you stop by the Split Rock Lighthouse. This impressive modernized light tower features 1000 watts of powerful illuminance. Situated on the rocky coast of Lake Superior, this light station was built in 1910 and soon became one of the best-known locations in all of Minnesota. Science Museum of Minnesota

The Science Museum of Minnesota offers plenty of hands-on activities for kids of all ages. Take a ride on the Rocky Mountain Express in the Omnitheater, make your way through mazes, and learn more about the science behind sports with the museum’s special exhibits. The Science Museum is open Sunday – Wednesday from 9:30AM to 5PM, and Thursday – Saturday from 9:30AM to 9PM.
