Aquarium of the Americas

The Audubon Aquarium of the Americas is one of the top places to go when you want to spend the day out with the kids. Audubon Zoo

The Audubon Zoo in New Orleans can be found in the historic Uptown location. The zoo has an exotic mix of animals that come from all over the world. There are hands-on exhibits that are excellent for school-aged children, and plenty of educational events to take part in. Special habitat exhibits such as the Louisiana Swamp show the relationship between humans and wildlife. Tickets to the Audubon Zoo are $22.95 for Adults, $17.95 for Children ages 2 to 12, and Senior tickets are $19.95.


Sulphur Parks Water Park

Located at 933 West Parish Road in Sulphur, LA, this water park has plenty of attractions to keep the entire family cool and entertained throughout the warm summer months. With massive water slides and splash pads, there are vast opportunities for everyone to have a good time. The Lagoon pool offers a great place to relax and unwind while Larry’s Lazy River allows guests of all ages to float down river along a swift current. Tickets are $6 for in district and $12 for out of district guests. Children under the age of 2 years are admitted to the water park free.


Global Wildlife Center

The Global Wildlife Center located in Folsom, LA provides a memorable experience as you get to interact with wild animals. The 900-acre preserve has been in business for 26 years and is now home to 4,000 exotic animals. Watch, learn and explore the world where thousands of wild animals live safely.
