Cigar City Brewing
Located in Tampa, Cigar City is one of the favorites breweries in Florida. Its beers, Jai Alai India Pale Ale, Florida Cracker and the Hunahpu Imperial Stout, just to name a few, reflect the rich history and culture of Tampa Bay. This award-wining brewery offer tours and has a tasting room that features its brews and freshly hand rolled cigars.
Funky Buddha Brewery
Founded in 2010 in Boca Raton, Funky Buddha is South Florida’s largest craft microbrewery. Its 54,000 square foot production brewery located in Oakland Park opened in 2013. This popular brewery is known for its big and bold flavors like its flagship ales, Hop Gun IPA and Floridian Hefeweizen.
Tequesta Brewing Co.
Found in its namesake village, Tequesta Brewing is South Florida’s first microbrewery. This organically ceritified brewer produces over 40 different specialty beers in a year. It has received the Silver Medal at the 2011 Great American Beer Festival.
Due South Brewing Co.
Established in 2011, Due South is a relaxed microbrewery located in Boynton Beach. What started as a homebrewing hobby at Mike and Jodi Halker’s back porch has become one of South Florida’s favorite craft brewery. It has been featured numerous times in media and publications like the Boston Globe, SouthFlorida.com and New York Post, to name a few.
7venth Sun Brewing
Bring together their years of experience in some of the best breweries in the country, Devon Kreps and Justin Stange opened the 7venth Sun in 2012. Located in Dunedin, they specialize in Belgian-style beer, IPAs, spirit barrel-aged beer and oak-aged sour beer. Its tiny and unassuming storefront location is frequented by beer fans from near and far.
Swamp Head Brewery
Swamp Head is an award winning brewery founded in 2008. This Gainesville based brewery has received 11 awards, including the “best in show” at the Best Florida Beer Championships in 2011. They only use locally sourced, high quality ingredients in making their finest brews whether it’s their year round beers like Stump Knocker and Wild Night or their seasonal beers.
