Mobile Bay

Mobile Bay is the inlet where the Gulf of Mexico meets the border of Alabama. This location is bordered by the Fort Morgan Peninsula, Dauphin Island, and the Mobile River. It is the fourth largest estuary in the nation and has a discharge of 62,000 cubic feet of water per second. While in the area, tourists can visit The MIddle Bay Lighthouse which as been located in the center of the bay since 1885.


Orange Beach

There are plenty of things to see and do when you visit the popular area known as Orange Beach in Alabama. The white sandy beach provides access to interior bays and bayous for sailing or fishing. Visit the local amusement park known as Adventure Island, or check out the local history at Orange Beach Indian & Sea Museum.


Dauphin Island

Dauphin Island is an affordable family vacation destination that is part of the beautiful Gulf Coast. It is the home of some of the most amazing sunrises in the south. And it is also home to the Dauphin Island Sea Lab, a local estuary and aquarium that provides plenty of information about local sealife.


Fort Morgan

The Fort Morgan area of the Gulf Shores offers plenty of fun and educational activities for the entire family to enjoy. Fort Morgan is the site the 19th Century fort that has several Civil War exhibits and artifacts to view. The nearby Fort Morgan Historic Site Museum is another great place to visit with that focuses on Alabama's role in the Civil War.


Gulf State Park

Gulf State Park is the ideal location for outdoor enthusiasts. Along with the two miles of beaches, this area also offers plenty of opportunities for water sports, kayaking, plus guided nature and pier tours. Enjoy the view and collect a few sea shells to take home at this pleasant Gulf Shores beach.



Along with visiting the beautiful beaches inside the City of Fairhope, you can also visit some of the other local attractions such as the Weeks Bay National Estuarine Research Center, the Fairhope Museum of History and Fairhope Community Park.
